Introducing Climb & Relax — a new way to travel

Tailor-made climbing journeys

Why Climb & Relax exists

Climb & Relax was born from a simple observation: a great climbing trip is not only about the routes you climb, but about the entire experience around them.

We design journeys where everything is thoughtfully planned — from logistics to accommodation — so you don’t waste time organizing details. Because time saved is time on the rock.

Climbing well and resting well go hand in hand. By creating the right balance between performance and recovery, adventure and comfort, Climb & Relax allows you to focus on what truly matters: climbing more, and enjoying it fully.

Who are we?

Eduardo Ruano Lin — Co-founder & Trip Designer

I’m driven by discovery — and rediscovery. Just when you think you know a place, you come back and realize there’s still so much more to understand, to feel, and to experience. That’s how I envision climbing too: every day on the rock is a chance to learn something new.

Over the years, climbing has taken me to remarkable places and introduced me to true professionals. With many of them, I’ve been lucky enough to build friendships — and today it’s a privilege to collaborate with them. This is one of the core pillars of Climb & Relax: our guides, hosts, and local partners aren’t just suppliers. They’re part of our culture.

If you travel with us, you’re not just ticking off a new destination. You’ll experience it at your own pace — through the climbing that defines it, and the local life that makes it memorable.

Caroline Delvincourt — Co-founder & Trip Designer

I discovered climbing a few years ago and not only did I discover a passion, but I discovered a whole new world.
Through the people I met, the places I explored, and the walls I had the chance to climb, I gained strength, confidence, and a deeper connection to myself and to nature. Climbing taught me resilience, presence, and trust — in my body, in my partners, and in the process.

What started as a personal journey quickly became a desire to share this experience with others. We created Climb & Relax to bring together adventure and well-being: meaningful climbing experiences in beautiful destinations, combined with moments to slow down, recharge, and connect.

Our goal is simple — to help people travel differently, climb with intention, and return home stronger, both physically and mentally. And maybe, discover a bit more about yourself in the process…

How do we work?

Get inspired and reach out

Start with the essentials: your climbing experience and style, approximate travel dates, and any goals you may have in mind — enjoying sunny crimps, sending your first 7a, improving your onsight level, or simply discovering new crags. Let us also know who you’re traveling with and anything else you’d like to share. Every detail helps us design the right experience for you.

We design your first tailored draft

Based on your input, we create an initial proposal built on a realistic structure: areas that match your expectations and seasonal conditions, a day-by-day outline with suggested sectors, accommodation aligned with your comfort level, and a first price estimate per person. Our plans don’t just fill out days — they give each day direction.

We refine it together

We review the proposal with you and fine-tune the details: rest day activities, climbing strategy and objectives with your guide, and options that fit your group’s dynamic. This is where a good idea becomes a truly well-rounded week.

Arrival and full support during your trip

Once you land, we will keep an eye on the weather and conditions and let you know if we feel like your trip could benefit from any adjustments. You focus on climbing and recovering — we make sure everything else keeps running seamlessly, and we remain available at any point of the trip. If your trip includes a guide, this is when you meet and get to know each other.

Examples of trips we design

Your first rock trip — from the gym to the wall

Catalonia is one of the best places in Europe to transition from indoor climbing to real rock. The variety of crags is exceptional, and the conditions are often ideal for learning and progressing.

At Climb & Relax, we design this transition around your current level and experience, so you can improve quickly without feeling overwhelmed. The focus is on building confidence step by step, in the right places and at the right pace.

Our guides will focus on how to make you more confident and autonomous outdoor: how to plan a crag day, essential knots and systems, efficient belaying, and simple safety habits that stay with you long after the trip. The goal is not just to give you a great week of climbing, but to leave you with the skills and confidence to return to rock again and again.

Sample Week – Catalonia

Day 1: Arrival in Margalef, check-in and meet your coach/guide.

Days 2 to 3: Climbing in selected sectors of Margalef.

During those two days, your guide will introduce you to the famous Margalef style: pockets and cobblestones. You will be able to work on different skills: finger strength, endurance, and athletic moves, while enjoying one of the most famous sectors in the world.

Day 4: Active rest day: hiking in Montsant Natural Park.

Between beautiful hiking trails and hidden caves, The Serra de Montsant is the perfect choice for an active rest day, with a view!

Days 5 to 6: Climbing in selected sectors of Siurana.

For the last two days, your guide will take you to Siurana for some fingery edging routes, where you will be able to display the skills and technique you learnt at the beginning of the trip.

Day 7: Departure Day.

Tufa Masterweek in Kalymnos (knee-pad coaching)

Over recent years, kneepads have changed modern sport climbing — especially on steep tufa lines. Using them well (and comfortably) can make the difference between simply surviving a route and truly enjoying it.

This is where a well-designed coaching week makes a difference. We built a Kalymnos trip specifically around learning how to climb on tufas with kneepads: positioning, pacing, resting efficiently, and reading sequences in three dimensions. We also match the sectors and routes to your level and expectations, so you’re always challenged — but never shut down.

Sample week – Kalymnos:

Day 1: Afternoon arrival, check-in, meet your coach/guide.

Days 2 to 3: Guided sessions — technique and tactics on carefully selected tufa routes.

During those first two days, your guide will teach you everything you need to know about the ultimate the game-changer for long tufas: kneebaring.

Day 4: Active rest day — a calm paddle session and exploring the island with a scooter, local style.

Days 5 to 6: Practice — onsight focus; a specific project, or simply the best tufas for your style.

During those last two days, your guide will select routes depending on your goals, to put in practice your kneebaring technique.

Day 7: A slow morning or one last session before departure depending on schedule.

Why travel with us

Passion that’s contagious

We genuinely love climbing — and we love the kind of travel that makes you feel connected to a place. Our goal is simple: help you experience new destinations in the most comfortable, enjoyable way possible. If Climb & Relax is what finally gets you to a place you’ve been dreaming about — or helps you live an adventure you wouldn’t have attempted on your own — we’ve done our job.

Honest, experience-led expertise

We’ve been climbing for more than 20 years, and we’re constantly exploring new areas, staying updated on conditions, access, and what actually works on the ground. With that, we can actually design a trip that suits you and your group, based on real experience.

Carefully curated partners

Every stay, guide, host, and local collaborator is selected with intention. We work with people we trust and places we know first-hand, because the details matter: comfort, reliability, communication, and the small things that turn a good trip into a great one. We don’t offer anything we wouldn’t choose ourselves.

Tailored by design

There are countless crags in the world — and just as many ways to enjoy them. That’s why we build each trip around you: your style, your goals, your pace, and your idea of a perfect week. No templates, no generic packages. This is your trip, designed to feel like it couldn’t belong to anyone else.

Time saved — and value kept

Planning a climbing trip properly takes hours: researching areas, comparing sectors, reading reviews, coordinating logistics, and hoping it all fits together. We remove that friction. And because we work directly with accommodations, guides, and local businesses, we can often secure agreed rates — helping keep the overall value strong without compromising the experience.

We make sure your journey always feels inspiring effortless unforgettable
